Similar to the recent JR Tohoku Tourism commercial, here’s another Japanese advertisement making prominent use of a Leica rangefinder camera (M3 with 50mm Summilux), this time for the Mitsui Sumitomo Visa card.
It’s interesting how both commercials employ in the film / digital dichotomy in different ways- while the JR commercial features a young woman with a vintage M4 among older male DSLR fans the Visa one is more traditional with the father and his M3 alongside his daughter with her compact digital camera.
