Shinjuku, April 2012
One of the interesting things you’ll doubtlessly see on Sundays in Tokyo are couples with cameras. Japan cultivates an appreciation of photography among young women in ways one doesn’t quite see in the West. When coupled with the aesthetic cultures of fashion and design in the city photography you’re bound to meet young people out and about with a camera over their shoulder in not only Shinjuku, but other centers-of-Cool like Omotesando, Daikanyama, and Shimokitazawa as well.
