This is the first showing at TPPG of Hishinuma’s 35mm work- he normally shoots with a Mamiya 6 for his Let Me Out series- but aimed his Contax T3 towards his usual motifs of animal skulls, knives, nudes, and hometown Fukushima countryside. It’s some interesting stuff- and he’s following this show up with a back-to-back exhibition from April 14 - 26 entitled Kage, and yet another show at Zen Foto in May, 2015.
