Published in December of 1999, Ei-Shuppan’s “mook” HEXAR RFのすべて (All about the Hexar RF) offered readers a chance to see three illustrations of early concepts of the camera’s cosmetics, here called the Hexar II.

Version 3: “Final image design”- this looks very similar to the Hexar RF Limited edition (save for black paint level with the rubber grip).
