More never-ending work from photographer Haruto Hoshi- - I try to post images from all of his shows to share with you but I see I missed show #21. Each time I try to say something new, but possibly the best thing to copy-paste would be last paragraph from my review/post of his show St. Photo Exhibition #20:
Remember- Tokyo street photographers like him aren’t in on (or even aware of) the Internet Street Photography scene with it’s Brands and self-help workshop hucksters. These men and women working like Hoshi aren’t “passionate”. They’re dedicated. The keep on doing what they do for no other reason beyond having a personal need to do it. I suspect that one reason why they do what they do is because they are, as Mr. Papageorge once perfectly put it, interestingly tormented people.
