Overgrowth is the creation of two artists from Portland Oregon- the website for it explains more in-depth, but if you’re familiar with the project on kickstarter or you know that visitors are in for some beautiful photographs which have been complied into both a new photobook and postcard set that are available on site during this exhibition. The book, all shot on Kodak Portra film (Kodak Alaris gets a shout-out in the “special thanks” section) is available for sale here.
Parker’s work is quite popular and in demand in Japan- A list of contemporary photographers making a living shooting film through a Leica today wouldn’t be that long but his would name definitely be on it. You’re probably not going to find as decent, level-headed and all around cool guy as he anywhere else, either. Really glad I was able to meet him in person this afternoon for a chat.
Check Parker’s Instagram account / flickr / website (or tumblr) for examples of his fine work.
