About a month ago Leica Japan contacted me asking to collaborate with their Leica shop in the Yokohama Sogo Department store. From October 24, 2015 to March 2016 I’ll be exhibiting seven 16x20 images from my Zuisha series. We had the silver gelatin prints done by a professional black and white printer in Tokyo- It was the first time I’ve seen my negs done by a pro printer- and I have say that they look amazing.
In addition to the exhibition, Leica Japan and I are going to be doing some events together over the next few months. I’m very pleased and humbled to have been offered this opportunity to share my work in this venue. It’s been n honor and a great experience so far working with the staff of the shop- look for more info and updates about what we’ll be up to here in the near future.
