Tokyo Camera Style is a Tumblr, meaning that you’ve got some experience with Tumblr, and logically that means there’s a 99.99999% chance you’ve seen Ren Hang’s photography- it’s great- sexy, bold, ingeniously simple, shot on film (Contax T3)– just a perfect tumblr-storm. It looks great printed, framed, and mounted as well- especially in a narrow old apartment building overlooking Shinjuku-gyoen. The show is great, the pictures are great, man- - that staircase up to the venue is awesome. I don’t know why autumn brings out all the great photo shows in Tokyo but yeah, this is definitely one to see.
