Sakamoto takes pictures of life- a life interested in Tokyo’s punk scene, friends, and a lot of tattoos. She’s always got a compact 35mm film camera- its flash is an integral aspect of her work. A former student of Shinya Arimoto, she photographs men and women with the same vividly sexy interest.
