Stopped by the 2018 Tokyo Geidai Art Book Fair- it’s part of Geidai’s fascinating school festival. The most prestigious art university in Japan, the entire campus is a good time. The Art Book Fair is not a market, but rather an exhibition of books both commercial and student work.
The bulk of the pics above are from my favorite part- @flotsambooks&@koji9536 provided a great selection of foreign photobooks titles for viewing. Visitors are offered a small sheet of red-dot stickers and are asked to place a dot on the information card of the books they like.
The fair is up until Sept. 9, 2018 at the Geidai campus in Ueno.
