All in the Past, the latest exhibition by gallery member Anna Shimmyo is color 35mm diaristic work that’s thoughtful and sincere- to top it off she’s an excellent color darkroom printer. Darkroom skills such as hers make absolutely clear the technical capabilities of the Contax T3 ’s potential. What I mean is, you have to see (prints) to believe (in film). But none of that matters if there isn’t a good eye in the finder. Anna’s got a great eye backed by an empathetic heart. (These qualities help not just photography but going through life in general)
