A set of luridly eclectic and energetic street photographs of Hong Kong by native-son ERIC are up at Zen Foto Gallery in Tokyo in commemoration of the publication of his latest photobookGood Luck Hong Kong.
As control his native city reverted back to China in 1997, ERIC (he goes by the all-caps mononym) decided to move to Japan for a new future. He ended up finding work in a Tokyo photo lab, a part time job that ended up setting his photographic course- one that left thousands upon thousands of colorful flash-blasted pictures in its wake.
