Toru Komatsu’s still life was an exhibition of inkjet prints from negatives he shot in the early 1990s through his half frame Olympus Pen. The prints included glimpses of preceding and following frames- in some pieces this alluded to motion, both physical or temporal.
The method by how the prints were mounted to the wall was interesting- a hole had been punched in each corner and through these the plastic tips of pushpins were hooked- the prints hung tight and flat thanks to the tension of the paper.
