We got together today to re-paint the walls and re-stain the floor of the gallery. Part of how things work here is that we photographers ourselves put in work to keep things going. Rubbing noxious wood stain into the floor with a rag is less glamourous than running around the streets with a camera or crafting fiber prints in the darkroom but this kind of thing is not only necessary but also rather fun. Have to say that the place looks pretty sharp now.
