The Heavy Collective and kind of — gallery are proud to present the second instalment in the End of the Role series.
That last shot of the roll: an irritating interloper or a precious commodity that bears savouring? An often maligned or overlooked artifact of photography is given an unprecedented spotlight in the second instalment of this novel undertaking End of the Role.
Restricted in choice, End of the Role will ask 39 local and international photographers to dig through their archives in the hope of finding forgotten gems.
For two weeks in October as part of Sydney’s Art and About, The Heavy Collective and kind of — gallery will play host to this intriguing and fresh exploration of the photographers archive.
