I’ve known Brad since we were both photo students at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, back in 2003. This is the camera which he used to make this body of Black and White work- a fantastic set of photographs which got him into Yale’s prestigious photography grad program- one of only nine students which are accepted each year.
It had been a while since we last met but I had the great pleasure of meeting up with him in Nebraska this past week. It was facinating to hear about his experiences in the Yale photo program and getting to view and discuss his recent and ongoing color work in person was an amazing experience. You can read some of his statements on photography here.
