While cleaning my apartment I found this Yomiuri Newspaper feature from Nov. 24, 2005- “26 year old American’s My Tokyo Story”.
This was from back when being a gaijin running around Tokyo with a Leica was newsworthy, I guess. I don’t really know of any others at that time.
The statue behind me is the Kubikiri-jizo at Enmei-ji in Minami-Senju.
